Tricksters finished on 9th place
Box lacrosse season is finally over for Tricksters Lacrosse Team. In spite many looses Tricksters proved their skills and annoyed better opponents too.
On Saturday and Sunday 23 – 24.5. 2009 for 9 – 12th place games were play. Orange came out in city derby against Bratislava Bats. Tricksters smothered Bats from the first minutes, then like in first game of these opponents fight came. Referee gave a lot of penalties on both side and then the game really started. Bats players were still bad to referee so they receive many unsportsman penalties. Two minutes to go and 19:3 for Tricksters Bratislava Bats protested for irregular field and goals and they leave the field. Not too much pretty nice end of good game in which Tricksters dominated. Best players: Tricksters – Martin Kramar (7+3), Stanislav Purgat (6+2)
Second game against two Czech teams was clear. While Slavia finished 6th last season, Sumperk has still problem with players. The final result 25:14 for Slavia. Best players: Ondrej Sochna (10+1), Frantisek Marhoul (8+4), Sumperk – Martin Macek (4+2).
Two lost teams from Saturday came out first. Game was matches but in every period Bats scored one more and won 14:10. Best players: Bats – Martin Culman (3+3), Milan Zifcak (4+0), Sumperk – Martin Macek (3+0).
Two best teams after regular season came out on the last game on Sunday. Tricksters were loosing for two but then they stand up and tied to 2:2, then Slavia score another but Tricksters were like crazy. They fight for every ball. Sun was death but it was like energy for Tricksters. Final score 15:9. Best players: Slavia – Ondrej Sochna (3+2), Tricksters – Martin Kramar (11+1), Stanislav Purgat (2+5)
