Lacrosse club Tricksters rewarded the best
As already has become an annual tradition, lacrosse club Tricksters are met at the end of a farewell speech last year. This year, the boys and the girls really have a lot to review, because it was mainly a national team year.
National team consisted mainly of players of our club eventually finished „only“ twelfth place, but decided to thank all those who organized this action succeeded. Tricksters this year won in another addition to Slovak national league and Tricksters cup. Did not win the tournament or any other league, but definitely not disappointed, because they were able to get scalps two more Czech clubs Malesice and Radotin.
The annual meeting friends of Tricksters lacrosse club was only icing on the cake. After a long time grace us with his presence founder of lacrosse at Slovakia Mark Lichtner and in this occasion the club's awarded top players in the following categories.
- Young gun 2012 (awarded to the best rookie). Finalists were Martin Holada, Richard Terkovic and Tomas Stankovic. Finally, after a vote the winner of the poll was Thomas Stankovic, who returned to lacrosse after three year.
- The best defensive player 2012. This award recognizes the player, defender or goalkeeper who, according to voting of club members excelled most in defensive abilities. Finalists were Stanislav Mraz, Boris Stankovic and Miro Samo. Finally, the award stands home after a year because Miro Samo won again.
- Tricksters MVP in a vote became Boris Seversky, who beat his competitors Ben Leeney and Ivan Cernak just for two voices.
- Award, which is awarded to the best shooter of the season, won again Tomas Lichtner, who scored 43 goals and defend his triumph from the last year. In second place was Martin Kramar, 39 goals and ranked third Ivan Cernak with 28 goals scored.
- The last award for the most productive player of the year. The result was again the same as the year before. Martin Kramar was the most productive player with 102 points for 39 goals and 63 assists. In second place was Thomas Lichtner with 55 points (43G and 12A) and Ivan Cernak third place with 53 points (28G and 25A).
We congratulation to all awarded and we hope that next year will have more competitors and at the same time, that defenders will fight for their triumphs again next year.
