Tricksters are Slovak lacrosse champions

Our most successful lacrosse club, Tricksters Lacrosse Team, defended title in the Slovak Lacrosse League 2011 and after the year is the Slovak lacrosse dressed in orange – black and white colors again.

The champion was decided some time ago and so the last two rounds, held last October weekend in Prievidza played primarily for the final second and third place. Although Tricksters joined to the last league matches with a maximum commitment and effort to get the best performance. There were convincing about that opponents, who left the matches with our boys with heads down.

In the first match met Tricksters against Bats. Already after the first quarter of the game was result 8:0 and everything seemed that bats leave with a decent shame. Tricksters did not stop play very well in other parts of the game and even though the opponents managed to score two goals somebody could say random goals, until the final seconds had Bats worry about, they can receive twenty goals. The opponent was not at all dangerous, was not able to bring ball to Tricksters side of the field. It got about five times the entire game. This also indicates the predominance of orange in the match. In fact, the most successful Boris Seversky on the face, completely erase the opponent, scoring eight goals and most of Bratislava contributed to a smooth victory. Goals into the net of black-red falling as apples from trees in autumn and in last seconds, opponent have looked like a boxer after twelve rounds in the ring, ripe for roll towels. The final score of the game was 19:2.

Second match against home team Hammers looks like game against Bats but with the fact that the Hammers were 6 goals less than Bats and scored one more. It seemed that this weekend Trickster cannot stop steamroller. Simply opponent did not have a chance in this match orange won 14:3.

On Sunday, took place last round games of Slovak Lacrosse League and Tricksters played already, in knowing that they Slovakia champions. Although game against the Hammers showed strength of Tricksters who defeated the home team in the ratio 10:3.

Fighting against the Bats, the last game of the season and even though it took until Tricksters kicked the orange monster, defeat bats to zero in proportion 8:0. The match resembled that on Saturday, although this time the opponent tried to hold the ball, keep away from their goal. In the middle of the match after a shot of Kramar, Bats lost their injured goalkeeper Petríkovic, and alternate player from the field, despite the efforts was not problem for Tricksters shooters. After the final referees whistle, Tricksters could lift the trophy of Slovak Champions again overhead.

Top scorer of SLL became Martin Kramar, who scored 36 goals. At the same time had score 31 assists and became the most productive player in SLL too, with a total of 67 points. The best goalkeeper in the SLL according to statistics has become again a player of our lacrosse club Michal Chylik with success percentage 71% rate interventions.
