New dates for the European Lacrosse Championships
The European Lacrosse Federation, after deciding to postpone the European Lacrosse Championships in Wrocław, Poland, from summer 2020 to next year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has already set a new date for this important European tournament. The new date of the European Championships will be July 21 – 31, 2021.
This tournament is particularly significant in that, for the first time in history, it will qualify for the World Championships, which were to take place in 2022 in Los Angeles, USA. Finally, the World Lacrosse Federation has decided to move this important world event for another year, and so the World Championships will take place a year later than originally scheduled, in 2023.
