Last round of NFLL in Bratislava
The lacrosse season ended for Tricksters over the weekend in Bratislava, where the last round of the Czech Lacrosse League (NFLL) was schedulled. As this is the rule in this league, it was something to look at.
On Saturday, our boys came up against the already finalist from Radotin and walked away without respect. Tricksters went to lead 2–0, but opponent managed to score twice too. It was clear that this game will be balance and one goal can be decide. This had also been confirm. By the last quarter, our boys led by one goal. Radotin, however, mobilized his strength in the last part of the game and scored another two goals more than an orange-black goal. In spite of the great effort, the team failed to cope and lost 12:14.
Sunday was really a ceremonial ending of the season, which also implied the arrival of Tricksterov to fight against Brno. The pre-match entry of the Indians was a pretext for a hard fight over the territory.
From the beginning, the game was definitely for the benefit of our boys, and all the players from the broader game gradually joined the game. The opponent tried to cope with the game in particular by hardness, and the game gradually sharpened to such an extent 30 seconds before the end of the third quarter the scuffle broke out in front of the goal of Brno, after which the players from both teams started to fight. Players were also involved in the game and the judges gave penalties as on the running track. It was not possible to continue with the game, despite the efforts of both teams to play this game. The referees refused to finish the game and ended it prematurely. A little sad conclusion of a very nice lacrosse weekend in Bratislava.
Nevertheless, the lacrosse weekend in Bratislava was a nice sprouting of a poor lacrosse autumn and a farewell to one of our great hearts and friend Brano Zelman, who decided to go to the deserved Indian retirement. We hold his fingers in his next life and we will be glad when his moccasins will be clear so that they bring him to the battle path to fight with his orange black brothers again.
