Tricksters brought the winning trophy from Budapest

Our men's lacrosse team Tricksters brought from New Year’s cup 2014 winning cup for the first place.

Overall, our boys played during the weekend 6 games (2×20 minutes), taking first in the group met with the German team 2nd Hand, which defeated 6:4. In the second game reach 13:3 victory over Balkan Stars and this win mean progress from the group stage.

On Saturday, Tricksters played again in table system so that the first two teams in each group drew two of which again the first two teams advanced to the semifinal of tournament. The teams finished in the last places played for lower positions in tournament. Tricksters in Saturday's first game met with rivals from Vienna to which this once again lost 2:3. In the second game, however, ensure progress to the semifinals at the expense of another Austrian team Graz Gladiators, who defeated 9:1.

In Sunday's semifinal waited for Trickster again team from Germany 2nd Hand. This game again Tricksters won this time 8:5. In the final Tricksters met again an opponent from Vienna.

Final game started our boys incredibly. Five goals distract from the rival, who seemed to be beaten, but it was not so. Conversely, in the second half, our guys did not get 15 minutes from their defensive half and only thanks to great defensive play of the whole team got „only“ three goals, which meant valuable victory in game and in the whole tournament.

MVP of the whole tournament was declared Tomas Lichtner with 13 goals.
