Incredible lacrosse weekend

Tricksters lacrosse club played over the weekend the National Field Lacrosse League (NFLL) in Vienna. On Saturday, the team met with the Vienna Monarchs and Sunday match was against defending champion from Malesice.

Saturday's match our boys all came out. From the beginning home team was better and even if Tricksters settled to 2:2, opponent was simply better, more playful, and when fell into the net almost everything, the frustration was even greater. It was still a detachment of last place in the table. By the end of the third quarter even though it looked like a balanced game, but what happened in the last quarter, was as the nightmare. Home team won almost every faceoff, kept the ball and give what is essential goals. In the end of the game score was 10:4 for Monarchs.

On Sunday, as the guys in the orange jerseys boarded knowing that playing against a strong Malesice which, won every games in last years. Within this struggle, but better Tricksters came when they were able to outflank rivals by three quick goals, but then Malesice reduced to 3–2, Tricksters then rebounded again to three goals. This course was basically the whole game. Malesice reduce and Tricksters rebounded. This time luck was on our side, even if during the score 10:8 Malesice reduced to one goal and had a chance to equalize, the last nail in the coffin killed Ben Leeney, masterfully details the best player of the game and set the score to a whopping 11:9 in favor of the Slovak champion.

Feelings after the game cannot be described. Anyone who was there saw and heard it. Tricksters played as a team, as one man. First time Slovak team beat one of the top three Czech clubs (Radotin, Jizni Mesto, Malesice).

Tricksters Lacrosse Team in this way sent the great invitation to all to upcoming tournament to be held in Bratislava on 8 and 9 September under the name Tricksters Cup 2012, respectively, the league round NFLL that will be on 15th and 16th of September also in Bratislava.
