LET’S PLAY LACROSSE
After four years, the lacrosse club Tricksters Bratislava come back to project called Play lacrosse. Six years ago, we started with the idea of intercrosse league in schools and we also give intercrosee equipment to the schools. The project was not brought to an end and intercrosse remained only part of the hours of physical education. The current project LET’S PLAY Lacrosse focuses on lacrosse development and understands children and young people the principles of the game and highlights the opportunities associated with playing lacrosse in our lacrosse club and Slovakia.
Project in collaboration with Ladislav Novomesky high school and other schools in Bratislava, has a role to attract to our club as many new people interested in this sport. The age limit is not, however limited, on the contrary. You can start later with lacrosse. Someone started in thirties, however, earlier start is advantage of those who choose to devote full lacrosse from his childhood.
Within a few lectures on lacrosse in gym GLN hands many classes and classes that interested in watching shows and also had a chance to try lacrosse. In general, true that many of the respondents already knew lacrosse especially from abroad, but did not know that it is in Slovakia. The girls also had great interest for lacrosse when its contribution to the development of theme issues. The boys again gave priority illustration and tried throwing, catching and used lacrosse equipment.
In the future, certainly Tricksters lacrosse club will promote such activities as the potential development of lacrosse in schools and Slovakia. Club president Martin Kramár said: „We have prepared several projects to help both our club and the development of lacrosse in other cities. Do not overtake. As the oldest lacrosse club in Slovakia feel for the development of Slovak lacrosse responsibility. We want to give a chance to understand lacrosse all who is interested. Of course this will be achieved only through the support of our sponsors and club members. “
We believe that Tricksters LT members will meet their goal.
