BASIC GROUPS OF EURO 2012 DRAW

Last night we heard after long time news about drawing of basic groups for the European lacrosse championship 2012, which will be held from June 20 in Amsterdam.

Slovakia will meet in base (green) group successively with Israel, after the day off against a group favorite Wales, France, and performance in the group complete against our old friend Norway.

The group winner proceeds directly to the semifinals, teams at second and third place will play match for the semifinals.

What we know about our opponents:

Israel has not competed at lacrosse championship yet, but has strong support in the U.S., so you can expect an interesting set of quality players playing in good leagues.

Wales: Players from the island country, our guys met at the European Championship 2008 and match them yielded high 3:17.Wales braced players from USA and England is probably the toughest opponent of our group.

France: With these players, our representation, has not met, the French are devious opponent and they certainly should not be underestimated.

Norway: Probably the most famous opponent of our choice. With Norway lacrosse, has our lacrosse players experience from Finland 2008 and World lacrosse championship 2010. Both matches were successful for Slovaks 3:16, respectively 4:14. Both matches were hard, but in the last opponent even used the tactic of measuring the depth of lacrosse pocket. Determine what it will look well in the European Championships in Amsterdam.

So if you are planning to visit Amsterdam at the time of the European Championship, our boys will be certainly happy, when you support them.
