RELAX CUP WOMEN 2011

Traditionally, the second weekend in july, “Pohoda” opens the summer season for many young people. But Tricksters Ladies did not deny their sport spirit and their first summer party was the participation on the ReLax Cup in Prague. Even though they couldn’t compete the other teams with their small amount players, they really did enjoy this event. They could finally wear their team colors together with the girls from “Inferno” who were helping them to reach the needed amount of players to participate. Even though the weekend temperatures weren’t promissing really the bath they would wish, it didn’t take their willingness to play away.

Already during the first game it was visible that the girls seemed more confident and they were exploiting their game chances more aggressively. They were playing with much bigger enthusiasm what helped them to win against the czech team Baggataway Bees 5:4. The following days were not so lucky for our Ladies anymore. Their first game on sunday against the well-coordinated team Tutti Frutti ended with the final score of 1:8. The next lost game with the czech Marshmelons, mainly because of the weak offensive ended with the score 0:11. Despite their two lost games our girls made it to semifinals where they were playing againt the Tutti Frutti team once more. Because of the poor productivity of our player the finals score was again 2:8. Ladies didn’t find the key to win even during the game against the Team Sweden where they had big chances to beat them. The final score was 4:7.

Even though Ladies were the fourth from the six teams competing, they are happy thay attended this Cup. To their overall improvement of the game tactics and satisfaction helped also the fact that they could finally use the instructions of their coach. New game situations during the games and also the support of their coach helped them to obtain new needed experiences on the field which will be beneficial for them during their next games.
