Q+A with Katarina Bratova

Eighteen years player of Bratislava Tricksters Ladies Katarína Bratová, playing with the number 59 jersey, studying at the high school of Mother Alexie in Bratislava, this year it awaits graduation. She would like to focus on the French after college. Katarina loves their loved ones, as well as music, singing, lacrosse, guitar, flute, likes reading, learning foreign languages, walks like a party to regularly visit the festival Pohoda :-) She does not like spinach, prejudice and a sense of sadness that she descends mainly when it is away from home and missing her family and her friends.

Katarina, you're the only player Slovak lakrosového team, tell us how you came to lacrosse and how did your team Tricksters Ladies?

For lacrosse, I got a full chance. Our Tricksters boys did recruit in high school, you watch. My classmates very fail to reach, but with one classmate we've just started to practice. It was pretty wild, because we were practicing with the boys. Gradually, we threw the network began to walk more girls and we decided to become independent. It was around in 2007, 2 years after I started play lacrosse. Later, when Šofo (note red. Černák Ivan – a player the club Tricksters) began training us, everything has gathered momentum way. When we thought about the name, we wanted to know everyone with whom we started and who helped us, so why Tricksters. Ladies was then logical :-)

What do you think is the main motivation for you all to remain in lacrosse?

Lacrosse is definitely unusual and special sport. For me it is so attractive precisely because it is incredibly dynamic. Lacrosse player must be good not only condition, coordinating body, but must also be able to work well with stick have a sense of different situations in the game. One of my personal motivations is definitely that I have to constantly improving; other it is also possible that, thanks to a lot of tournaments, travel and last but not least are my co players!

**Do you have a vision and future plans to expand women's player base in Slovak? **

The visions are a lot. We are particularly strong desire to get new players because it is currently not easy. We will try to inform about the lacrosse there and play on the Slovak Republic, whether through media or various projects (actions). It is paramount for us to Slovaks know that lacrosse is known mainly from movies, can play at home.

Do you have any lacrosse experience that you're proud of or that you reinforced that you want for lacrosse remains?

I look forward to each of the training, when we come sufficiently. I look forward to, for example when we travel to the Czech Republic will actively play here and there to win, then I got a lot of experience with girls, but they probably did not go through censorship ;-). We are definitely found the girls, they understand not only the game, but also personally. So I'm sure that my lacrosse enthusiasm will continues :-).
