Austria Women lacrosse league - 2nd round

On Saturday May 9 2009 was played one of the games of Austrian league which we the Tricksters Ladies also attended.

We are satisfied with our performance in this match in spite of loss 18:0 against Cherokees. Each player put everything to our game. What proves when one of Ladies dropped off in first half. Luckily all turned good thanks to quick help from Cherokees. So we could continue. Since we had only one substituting player, we had to finish the game without substitutions.

We had many scoring chances during game but we mostly blow them up except for a goal scored by player number 25 Ivanka Priecelová. Referees refused to accept this goal without any known reasons. However this match was very useful and enhancing experience. We are still getting better, more movable, and also our stick skills are improving. We are considering our new player Ľubica Kopčová very well. She played great in her first game. Girls with numbers 35 and 100 Simi Stejskalová and Patrícia Bazovská also became better just not to be afraid of ball and everything will be OK. Our leaders Kaťa Bratová and Ľuba Štubňová also played great in offence and defense too. Player number 7 Tami Ďuráková showed perfect playing from behind the net as well as in field. Big acclaim belongs to our goal keeper Terka Drobná who performed her fantastic abilities in net. Player number 3 Romanka Hostičná is still moving forward in all activities and tied our older players.

We can’t forget to thank to our cool coach Šofinko who raised quality of our game and skills. Thanks for great practice even we grouch sometimes.
