Tricksters Bratislava won the derby. They defeated Skalica 14:3

In the next round of the Slovak Lacrosse League, fans in Bratislava were treated to a clear victory for the home team Tricksters Bratislava, who defeated the combined team of Skalica Chiefs with a score of 14:3.

From the opening minutes, it was clear that the Tricksters entered the match focused and with a clear goal of dictating the pace of the game. The combination of disciplined defense, quick transition to offense, and effective finishing bore fruit throughout the entire match. The home team gradually increased their lead and did not allow the opponent to think about dramatizing the match.

Against a team composed of players from three clubs

It should be added that Skalica did not enter as a classic separate club team. They arrived for the match with a lineup of up to 23 players, and it was a combination of players from several clubs. The performance of the Tricksters, who showed better game organization, greater coordination, and team spirit, was all the more pleasing.

It was the long-term joint work and regular training that fully manifested itself on the field. The Bratislava team created chances after nice combinations, while the defense worked reliably and kept the opponent away from dangerous shooting positions.

Emotions at the end of the match

With the time increasing and the growing difference in the score, frustration began to grow on the opponent's side. In the final minutes, several unnecessarily harsh and unsportsmanlike tackles appeared, which did not belong to the correct course of the match until then.

Sport should be primarily about respect for the opponent and the result on the field. Therefore, it was regrettable that after the final whistle, some of the opponent's players did not come to shake hands, which is a long-standing tradition and a basic expression of sporting respect in lacrosse.

Team victory

Despite the emotions at the end, the main message of the match remains the quality performance of the home team. Tricksters Bratislava showed a collective performance in which every player contributed to the team's success. The result of 14:3 is a reward for honest work in training and at the same time encouragement for the next matches of the season.
