Victory at the tournament in Barcelona

Lacrosse club Tricksters Bratislava, recorded another great success. He managed to win an international tournament in Barcelona, Spain. The Slovaks did not even lose once in the tournament and booked only one draw.

The boys advanced directly to the semifinals clearly from the first place with a score of 27:5. The teams in third to sixth place played the quarterfinal matches, which resulted in the semifinal pairs Tricksters – Valencia and Brno – Barcelona.

Our players managed the semifinals against Valencia with an overview, they didn't let almost anything into their opponent and finally won 5: 2. The final of Tricksters vs Brno was expected, but our western neighbors burned the pond home, when they won 3: 2.

The final against the domestic kites was very interesting. The Tricksters made no surprises and went for the win from the first minutes. The Slovaks took the lead and in the first half, they added two more goals. Only at the score of 3: 0, the home team also prevailed from the power play and thus corrected the final score to 3: 1 in favor of the lacrosse club Tricksters Bratislava.

Tricksters climbed to the top after 2019, when they lost in the final against the American team in the tournament, and were able to celebrate a well-deserved title at the Barcelona Dracs cup 2022.
