Great show in DLL

During the weekend, the first round of the Danube Lacrosse League followed the Danube Lacrosse Conference, where the lacrosse club Tricksters Bratislava started its journey.

In Danube Lacrosse League play teams from Austria (Vienna Monarchs, Graz Gladiators), Hungary (Budapest Lax) and Slovakia (Tricksters Bratislava). This year's main purpose is to unite the lacrosse clubs that are close to each other and to play high quality matches as is possible, allowing players to move and develop again.

The first game for Tricksters against the Austrian Gladiators was from the start in orange hands and although the opponent occasionally threatened, three quarters were quite unambiguous. The final quarter, however, suggested that it would not be easy at all, and this league is playing until the end. With the excellent play and quick goals scored by our opponent, in the last second of the match even reduced to the final 8 to 7.

In the second match, the two Austrian teams came against each other. Monarchs with much more experience dictate the pace and the score has risen. In the last quarter, Graz took again and managed to score at least one honorary goal, but they lost second game again, this time 10 to 1.

In the third match of the game, two winning teams were standing against each other. In the case of Tricksters and Monarchs, this is a long-standing rivalry, two major cities lying only 60 km away. This rivalry since the founding of both clubs in 2003, yet these clubs are still excellent friends. Monarchs managed to get a three-goal lead and it seemed that Tricksters could not answer. However, the orange players score three goals in row to 3:3. At that time, the two teams moved to a 5:5 result. Monarch managed to score a goal to 5:6 and the final goal the seventh goal. The team won the entire match for themselves and took 6 points for two wins from Bratislava. Tricksters won one game so they wrote 3 points to the table and Graz went out empty.

The next DLL moves to Vienna, where the next series of games will take place on April 7th.
