Tricksters are champions of Slovak lacrosse league
Players of our lacrosse club Tricksters Bratislava, the third time in a row became the champions of Slovakia. Tricksters celebrated their third title at home field in Bratislava, as organized the third weekend of SLL (Slovak Lacrosse League).
Since the beginning of the Slovak Lacrosse League in 2010 is at the valuable cup for the winner only one name – name of our lacrosse club Tricksters. Tricksters decided victory in advance on Saturday, They were unbeaten during the season and deservedly pick up the cup for winners.
In the Saturday games Tricksters Bratislava opening match against bats. If Bats beat our boys could have a chance to retain the title. This, however, well aware of the Tricksters and to opponent ran like tigers on a piece of meat. Tricksters spared Bats and beat them convincingly 16:2.
In the second game picked up Tricksters against Prievidza Hammers. Hammers resisted just in the first half, but in the second, the pressure finally mastered and lost 8:3.
Sunday was for revenges. Hammers brought back good performance again, but this time lost 6–0. In the game for the Bats played players for Hammers too and game was pretty close. Both teams came the last quarter in 3–3 performance. Tricksters then switch to higher level and scored three more goals and this sent an opponent to home.
Tricksters without a loss of single point with a score of 75:26 defended the trophy in 2012 and again became masters of Slovak Lacrosse League.
Tricksters dominated in the individual statistics too, while top scorer of SLL became Thomas Lichtner with 22 goals. The most productive player throughout the league was Martin Kramar with 34 points for 14 goals and 20 assists. The best goalkeeper of the season was declared Stanislav Mraz with success percentage of 68.3%.
Representatives from Tricksters now waiting for the participation at the European lacrosse Championship in Amsterdam from 20.06.2012 to 7.1.2012 Then they will defend our colors in NFLL matches against teams from Czech Republic and Austria.
