NFLL weekend – 5.th Round

The last round of playing season was during the weekend for Tricksters Lacrosse team in Prague. Tricksters met on Saturday against defending champions South City and on Sunday against a new master from Malesice.

Both matches were really balanced and there was not see differences between the first or second team from the table and fourth Tricksters.

On Saturday, Slovaks arrived to Prague a few minutes later, as the place designated for the match, took place not in Prague, but a few miles away in Horomerice. Perhaps in this way a little orange down their opponent because they were toothless in the first minutes and did not face Tricksters. After the first half was surprisingly the state 7:3 for Tricksters Lacrosse. In this situation, both teams entered the second half. Until then, came teams completely opposite. South city shot goals than on a treadmill and Tricksters only watched helplessly as what happens. The state of the 7:7 orange requested time out, but even that did not help and could not stop the opponent launched not even the Berlin Wall. Drum called South Town swept away Tricksters hope for the first points against opponent from top three. Reasons why orange, failed to maintain this state is more. Some less experienced players, individual gross errors in defense and attack, and the Slovaks have a typical head hangs down after collecting a goal with powerlessness to do anything. Despite losing 14:8, Tricksters played a very informative game, which will certainly help them in preparation for the European Championships, which will be in Holland next year.

Sunday match against Malesice had the final withdrawal for the Slovaks in NFLL in 2011. Malesice, began as always sharp, slashing, pell-mell, and as for the match to be a referee and a half, was on the watch. The match was a wonderfully balanced and the third quarter was even a state 10:8 for new champions. In the last quarter, however, Tricksters failed, Malešice scored three goals and managed victory 13:8. Tricksters lacrosse did not received scalp of any opponents however, left a good impression, who judged some of the words „you are the most field team in Czech league“.

So Malesice are champions again after a year, the only team to did not lose any points throughout the season. However, true is that there is not Melesice and Malesice but Malesice and Pilsen, so every match, have enough quality players.

Tricksters, finished in fourth place, played balanced games against teams from top three only own mistakes prepared Tricksters lacrosse for surprises at the expense of favorites. In matches against Slavia, in both season duels Trickster demonstrate moral power.

NFLL minus is every year constant decrease in the level of organization contest when we saw the following: writing on a piece of paper by two referees. Playgrounds and irregular lines. Promotion of NFLL also lags significantly and sadly enough, already, but rather on the concept of the whole league of our neighbors, since they have priority boxlacrosse which are fourth in the world and the field for them is often a necessary evil. The field lacrosse was much better and respected by opponents from England, Germany and other countries in the past, so why it is so bed right now.

Winter trainings takes place, it will certainly be hard, because Tricksters lacrosse will be next year to defend the colors of Slovakia at the European Championship in Holland. NFLL was serving as advance preparation for this important event and the Tricksters have resulted in it really well.
