NFLL weekend - 3 Round
Over the weekend 10 – 11 September, the next round of the National Field Lacrosse League (NFLL), took place in Bratislava which is a member Tricksters Bratislava too. Weather once again came out and sun added to the intensity throughout the all day.
Tricksters on Saturday embarked on the spreadsheet match against rival Slavia. The matches between these teams are always very hard, because points for the table both teams need as salt. Tricksters as is becoming the rule, missed start of the game and opponent took the lead. More possession had Tricksters but at score board light score against them. The state of 3:7 for stitching, orange, however, raised his head, showed the fighting heart and eventually cord dragged a few goals on the opponent. Slavia were losing their condition in the second half, and so the opportunity to increase score rise, so the final score was 14:11.
On Sunday, picked up by our boys against Malesice. This struggle against vice-champion of Prague, was really interesting especially in the first half. Malesice take the lead 2–0, but then Tricksters draw at 2:2. Followed again two goals leading of yellow-blue. In the 2:4 state, when the match had broken, shot by Thomas Lichtner stopped Malesice goalkeeper behind the goal line, but the referee was not see this situation and goal disallowed. Even lacrosse unfortunately we see that the result takes more than fair play. As it turned out, this situation was shaken Tricksters that in the third quarter received 5 goals. In the last quarter despite an effort to score, overcome orange goalkeeper of Malesice only twice and it is very little to win. There was nothing to say after losing 4:10 for several players Tricksters.
11th September was indeed a very sad date for the America (where came lacrosse to Slovakia). It was this day we commemorate the events of 2001, when the world watched horror attack on the World Trade Center in New York. To make matters worse, Slavia Praha players who participated on the ELL (organized by another club in Bratislava), were stolen their personal baggage and had problem getting home to Prague. Finally, the planned match between Slavia and Jizni Mesto had to be postponed indefinitely. Even in the event it is clear that organized two competitions in one day is unfortunate.
