Ladies in the second round of women’s league

This weekend our Ladies travelled again to Prague in order to participate in the Czech National league of women’s lacrosse.

As usual, they joined the team from Malešice Lax Ladies TJ Sokol Královské Vinohrady. They planned a common practice, but because of logistics this was not possible at last. As this was not that much a tragedy, therefore we were ready to face one of the best Czech teams LCC Girlz. Ladies scored a goal just after the first draw. Unfortunately, the progress of the game was not that positive all the time. In spite of the negative development of the match Ladies did not lose their drive and tried to do their best. After an hour our girls were defeated 21:02.

The second playing day Ladies opposed another composed team known as Flamingo United. They started to play this match with more courage than the other day. The first half of the game was fairly even and tense, our Ladies gave their opponent nothing for free. But during the second half our girls were not that lucky. Despite the great amount of the shots on the goal and chances and because of the skill of opponent’s goalie they just could not score a goal.

The final score of the match was 12:07 for Flamingo United. An asset to the offense’s part of Lax Ladies was also our player Ľubica Kopčová who scored twice.

Although, the cooperation of Tricksters Ladies and Lax Ladies TJ Sokol Královské Vinohrady is getting considerably better, our Ladies hope to have their own adequate team so they could compete on a regular field under their own name as Tricksters Ladies.
