Today in series 9 +1 an interview with Martin Kramar, Slovak national player, Tricksters lacrosse team player, coach and also the president of this club.

**1. Tricksters.sk: Martin, you're really pretty about it, how you can combine all those functions with the players' roles? **

It is true that initially it was for me really a bit much, but over time I found way to go, even if it is not ideal. Certainly, if I was responsible for only one thing, it would be much better. In any case, enough help me my teammates, but in particular the members of VV Tricksters, to which I can also count in the event that something needs to be urgently addressed.

2. Tricksters.sk: What was for you the most interesting in terms of lacrosse in 2010?

Certainly participate in world championships in lacrosse, which were in Manchester and where I could represent our country. For a man who do sport from a young age is that something special and not all can say that were on WC. Anyway, this is preceded by the hard work in training, club practices, or individual practices. Not to mention the preference of lacrosse over other activities. WC is not just a matter of two weeks, but the minimum annual work actively.

3. Tricksters.sk: It looks like, lacrosse is a lot of hard work and sacrifice, but lacrosse is not a professional sport, how is it possible?

It is true that lacrosse is not nurture, certainly not for us and not at this time. But I am of the opinion that either I do something properly, or I go from there. The sport is life for me and the most important thing. I cannot imagine that I would not do anything. In any case, if there is much to give, certainly I would also like to get some reward, it is in lacrosse, especially in the form of experiences that I have during the games that we win, or we will experience something new in a new country. Trying to keep my enthusiasm for the game had more people on the team or national team. Today when everyone is talking a lot of people who valued above all do more and do it for almost nothing. All those who play lacrosse, we have a normal job, or are students. Thus, the only thing we fight the good location is not money, but the heart that we have about more than many professional athletes in Slovakia. This was most probably reflected of WC in England, where our team won five matches, losing only 2, but only a team composed of players club Tricksters, demonstrated that we can compete with other 30 national teams at the worlds.

4. Tricksters.sk: Why do you think Slovakia occupied 17th Place at the World Championships in England? We did not have more?

As I said we lost only 2 matches. Against Ireland, this had 13 Americans in its team and Poland, which made them even more. Unfortunately, those are ILF rules. Spain finished on 16th and won only 1 time. One can talk about injustice, but let's be glad that we at the World Championships in England could ever be. For it is thanks to all people who handled sponsorship, players who pay all the costs themselves for the season and I think if hockey players had pay a trip to Sweden in 2002, we would not probably be enjoy gold. Real for the first 10 in the world we do not. Those countries have state support and fold completely different sport than Slovakia. Therefore, success is 17th place.

5. Tricksters.sk: It is true that Slovakia should be a World Cup in box lacrosse, which is a younger version of lacrosse. Why, finally, Slovakia will not participate? Frightened you?

We certainly were not afraid. Simply conditions for participation in box were not favorable. The financial situation does not allow players who where participate all pay to go to the WC, which are more expensive than those that were in England. This is due to low interest in box lacrosse in Europe. This kind of lacrosse play only Czechs, Slovaks, English, Irish and Germans play it only if in a dream, because the real World Cup, players from professional will come to teams from Canada and USA. Thus number of countries that actually play box lacrosse is 6. My personal opinion is that lacrosse is the only one, it would be good to play both. HOWEVER, box lacrosse is not my favorite, it's kind of lacrosse, where is not so much about technique, and it's basically still the same and for me personally boring kind of sport. Lot of games in box league are fight against the referees and that is bad.

6. Tricksters.sk: Well, let's talk about you and Tricksters. What are your plans for 2011? In the past, you and club won what could. At the end of the year you got four awards, granted to them alone? Felt to be wrong?

I was. Decide on the members of the club, so I am glad to see me as the best in the categories where I got the prize. I would appreciate it if the price received others, but unfortunately again the prices up so much and we cannot have them for all. This year we are definitely going to try again fight for the cups in tournaments and we would be happy if we torment opponents in the Czech league. We just need to be in full force. Unfortunately, more we travel to our opponents, if that would be played more in our place we could do better results. Also, we try to prepare our own tournament, where we want to win!:)

7. Tricksters.sk: Who is your favorite lacrosse player?

Paul Rabil is my favorite, but I have a pattern, I try to take something from all that I knew to surprise the opponent's de­fenders and goalkeeper. The more things you know you are dangerous for the opponent.

8. Tricksters.sk: Do not want to go try lacrosse in the cradle of the sport?

It would certainly be great, but I think I am too old. I would like to go to the states this year or sometimes in feature to play lacrosse season. It much more better thanl league in the Czech Republic or Slovakia. At the same time gain more insight. For us it is a lot of matches on the fight with the judges, who frequently field rules do not know, because they play box lacrosse, and therefore they think that everything is permitted Box Lacrosse is also permitted in the field, but they are wrong.

9. Tricksters.sk: How long do you play lacrosse, who gave the most to you and what is the best workout?

I started to play five years ago and in my early days most helped me Thomas Lichtner, with whom we straddle shoot on goal, throw the ball … He helped me really enough. Then, of course, hours spent watching videos of players who know this and subsequent testing of the same at wall. The wall is most certainly what you give up if you want to be good technically. If you just be average, so you do not do anything, but it is not my case. I mean, I do not want to be just average.

10. Tricksters.sk: Last question, last answer. What would you like to say to laxers from all over the world?

Only one, lacrosse is a great game. Fast, hard and beautiful. Who wants to play it with joy, must go into it fully.
